Habitation Velier - Muller LL IV | French Rhum Agricole

An agricole rum from the Habitation Velier "house of pure single rums."

This was distilled on the bespoke Andreas Muller bain-marie copper pot still, specially installed at the Bielle distillery in Marie Galante, Guadeloupe, for production of the Rhum Rhum brand. Muller LL IV/3177 is the identification number for this still.

Bottled at 59% ABV, the traditional proof for Marie Galante rums.

Velier was founded in Genoa in 1947 as a wine and spirits importer and distributor. They selected their first single cask whiskies in 1992, bottled for them by Signatory Vintage, and have gone on to become one of the most collectible brands in the industry. Luca Gargano's involvement with the company has also positioned them as the one of the foremost authorities and bottlers of collectible rum as well.
