Description

Made at the Springbank distillery, Longrow differs from its more famous sibling in that it is made with peated barley - and as such shares characteristics with the nearby Islay distilleries. Complex and peaty.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: quite full and floral. There are bruised petals and blossom and notes of grist. A hint of thick cut marmalade and fresh herbs.
TASTE: quite big and firm. There is a solid slab of peat with a good malty feel. A well-balanced sweetness emerges with notes of sugared peels and tangerine with a hint of lime.
FINISH: quite long with citrus zest and oaked warmth.
